What “architecture” means at the chair
Most clients walk in saying “just clean it up.” We treat that brief like a blueprint conversation: cheekline, neckline, mustache symmetry, the cheekbone angle that’ll either narrow or widen your face. Then we cut.
If you’re between styles, ask for a sketch session — we’ll trial a shape on one side with the trimmer, you take a look in the mirror, and we mirror it across only if you’re happy.
- Hot-towel cleanse to soften the hair before any blade work.
- Cheekline and neckline mapped with straight razor for crisp edges.
- Bulk reduction with scissor-over-comb for natural texture.
- Pre-shave oil, post-shave balm, beard oil for the canopy.

I have patchy growth. Is sculpting worth it?
Often yes — clean lines do a remarkable amount of work to make a patchy beard read intentional. We’ll be honest if a particular shape won’t suit your density and suggest one that will.
Will you trim my mustache too?
Of course — mustache trim, lip line clean and a tiny dab of wax if you want it tame. Included in the price.
I’m sensitive to fragrance — can you skip the products?
Yes. Tell the barber at the start and we’ll swap to our fragrance-free range or skip products entirely.
